Vintage 2 Digital Services Overview
Vintage 2 Digital is your local resource for converting your treasured, but inaccessible memories, into a format that you can enjoy on modern equipment. We have served Oconee and Athens-Clarke counties and the surrounding region since February 2008. We specialize in memories that are too precious to drop in the mail and/or hand off to a stranger. Personalized customer service comes standard with all projects handled by Vintage 2 Digital.
Types of Media We Can Convert
We convert a wide variety of vintage media types to digital formats including:
- 8 mm/Super 8 mm open reel film
- Videotapes (all types of VHS tapes, Hi-8, Digital-8, mini DV, etc.)
- analogue audio recordings (on cassette tape)
- slide and photo scanning services
- slide and photograph restoration services

The Client and Media Experience
At Vintage 2 Digital the client is part of the process from start to finish. During the in depth initial meeting, we learn about you and your goals for the project. We also carefully inspect the media to be converted for any areas that seem especially fragile. The next phase is the conversion process, during which you receive regular updates by email or phone about the status of your project. Finally, when the project is complete we set up a final appointment to personally return both the originals and the completed project.A Special Note: How We Are Unique
Vintage 2 Digital provides services that are tailored to the specific goals and needs of each individual client. Due to the customized nature of the services that we provide Vintage 2 Digital accepts a limited number of active projects at a time. This allows us to focus on providing premium customer service that is consistent between clients and between individual projects submitted by loyal long term clients.
This high level of personalized customer service has helped shape a substantial satisfied client base who have submitted multiple projects over extended periods of time.
At times, especially during the 5 months preceding the Christmas holidays, number of potential clients may exceed the number of slots available for active projects. If this occurs we would like to ask for your patience and offer you the opportunity to be on our Contact List for available active project openings. Being on our Contact List does NOT mean that you will be added to any mailing list (electronic or otherwise). Instead it allows us contact you as an individual via your preferred contact method (phone or email) when we have a active project slot available.
